Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide and improve our service. The type of information we collect depends on whether you are a visitor or a logged-in user.
- Anonymous Visitors: When you use our service without logging in, we place a persistent cookie in your browser containing a unique, anonymous identifier (`visitor_token`). This token allows us to manage your card credit balance and prepare your creations for potential inclusion in our public gallery after moderation. This token is not linked to any personal information.
- Registered Users: When you sign in with your Google Account, we receive and store your basic profile information (your name, email address, and a unique Google ID) to create and manage your account.
- Card Content: We store the content you provide for your cards, including image prompts and personal messages. This data is linked to your registered user ID or your anonymous visitor token to enable features like the "My Cards" gallery.
- Recipient Emails: We **do not** collect, see, or store the email addresses of the people you send cards to. Our "Email" button uses a `mailto:` link that opens your own email client. The entire sending process happens on your device, not our servers.
2. How We Use and Share Data
Your privacy and control over your creations are paramount.
- Private by Default: Cards created by registered users are considered private to your account. No one can see them unless you explicitly choose to share them.
- Private Sharing: You can share a private card with specific people by sending them a special, secret link that contains a unique token. Only people with this exact link can view the card.
- Public Sharing: In your private "My Cards" gallery, you have the option to share a card to the Public Gallery. By doing so, you make that card visible to anyone who visits the site.
- Visitor Cards for Public Gallery: Cards created by anonymous visitors may be selected and approved by our administrative team for display in the Public Gallery.
- Improving AI Models: We may share completely anonymized prompt text with our AI service providers to help improve their models. This data is never linked to your personal account information.
3. Your Rights and Choices
You have control over your data. Registered users can view all their created cards in the "My Cards" gallery and choose which ones, if any, to make public. You may also request the deletion of your account and all associated data.
